Whitney Houston - How Will I Know
still on repeat.
NYC nomz #5: Anna Maria’s Pizza, Williamsburg.
A self proclaimed pizza lover, I don’t discriminate against different types of pizza yet I never thought I’d actually know the difference between ‘really good’ pizza and just, pizza. Leave that to New York to change that all and introduce my taste buds to some REALLY GOOD pizza.
One month in the city and I think I have found my favorite pizza spot yet in Williamsburg where Anna Maria’s is located right on Bedford Ave and satisfies beyond belief every time. And what’s better than a big greasy flavorful slice of pizza to the self proclaimed pizza lover in me? Well, a pesto pizza! Pesto (another one of my favorite edibles), is my favorite topping on a good pizza and Anna Maria’s serves the best piece of pesto pizza I have yet to experience. Thankfully, Anna Maria’s is conveniently located right off the L, as am I :)
Sybil - Don’t Make Me Over
I love this cover just as much as I love those late 80’s fits and hair-dos. What I would do to time travel back to the 80’s & 90’s…

NYC nomz #4: S’MAC, East Village
Philly Cheesesteak Special.
Best American Comfort Food?? MAC N CHEESE! S’MAC has to be one of the best restaurant ideas ever. My best friend who went here on her last visit to NYC put me on to this heavenly place. She spoke of various types of delicious macaroni and cheese dishes (specifically the Buffalo Chicken mac n cheese) and I couldn’t resist! I decided to try the Philly Cheesesteak mac n cheese and it was well worth the long wait and table hounding. I did try a bite of my friend’s Buffalo Chicken mac n cheese which was also very tasty. Other menu options included, Cajun, 4 Cheese, Mediterranean and build-your-own. Even better, you can order your mac n cheese pre-baked to take home and bake yourself! Stocking up on a few to freeze and store for those cold winter days/nights sounds like something I will be doing in the future.

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever — because believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart, even when it leads you off the well-worn path.”
Steve Jobs (1955-2011), in his 2005 commencement address at Stanford.
